Terms and conditions
Version 2026-11-01-v3 · 1 November 2026
Terms of use and purchase of Klusted and Pat. By creating your account or using the service you accept them; read them carefully and write to us if anything is unclear.
In short. Klusted and Pat are artificial intelligence services. They have a free plan, paid for by ads, which is for people aged 18 or over only, and paid plans without ads. The prices you see include VAT. You can cancel whenever you like. AI can make mistakes: check what matters. If something goes wrong, write to support@klusted.com.
1. Who we are and what Klusted is
Melty Clocks runs Klusted and Pat. Klusted (the “Service”) is an artificial intelligence space available on the web, in the mobile app, in the desktop app and through an API. It lets you talk to models from several providers, keep a memory of your own, create content (text, images, voice, music, video, documents) and use work tools. Pat is a personal assistant (thepat.io) that you write to on the web, on Telegram or, with the “Pat without ads” plan, on WhatsApp. Melty Clocks also offers Melty Clocks Ads, a portal for advertisers with its own terms. The contact details are in the Legal notice.
2. Your account
- To use the Service you need an account with truthful details and you must be at least 13. If you are under 14, you need the permission of your parent or legal guardian. The free plan with ads (including free Pat) is for people aged 18 or over only, and you confirm it with a box when you create your free account. Only people aged 18 or over can buy a plan or add balance.
- You are responsible for your password and for what happens from your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone has accessed it without permission.
- The account is personal. You may not transfer or sell it; to share with other people, use a team.
- You can close your account and ask for your data to be deleted at any time (see the Privacy policy).
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in accordance with the law and these terms. You may not:
- generate, store or spread content that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others (intellectual property, privacy, image, personal data), that incites hatred or violence, that exploits minors or that is used to deceive or impersonate other people;
- use the Service to create malware, attack systems, commit fraud, send spam or run disinformation campaigns;
- try to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data or systems, get around limits, security or payment controls, or overload the Service;
- resell or redistribute access, or systematically extract results to train other models, unless a specific condition allows it;
- use the Service in a way that goes against the usage policies of the model providers that apply to what you send through Klusted;
- click ads automatically or repeatedly, or out of the advertiser's own interest, to generate or avoid charges, or try to interfere with ad measurement.
4. Content generated by artificial intelligence
- Answers are generated by third-party artificial intelligence models. They can be incorrect, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable, and can sound confident even when wrong.
- They are not medical, legal, financial or any other kind of professional advice. Check important information before acting on it.
- You are responsible for how you use the results and for reviewing the code, documents or actions that the tools generate or run before accepting or approving them.
- Your content is yours: what you write and upload (inputs) and what the Service generates for you (outputs) remain at your disposal. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and process it and send it to the providers you choose or that the Service uses to provide the feature you ask for. Because outputs can be similar for different people, we do not guarantee that they are unique or free of third-party rights.
- Ads are not AI answers or our recommendations. An advertiser pays for them, we review them before showing them, and they are marked “Sponsored”. AI adapts the text to your question but only with data the advertiser approved. Even so, check them before you buy or decide; we are not a party to any purchase you make from the advertiser.
5. Plans, balance and prices
- Plans. There is a free plan (Connect, €0), paid personal and team plans, and Pat: free with ads only on Telegram and the web, or the €10 a month “Pat without ads” plan, the only one that works on WhatsApp (only with numbers in the European Economic Area) and has 100 messages a day. Monthly prices are on Pricing.
- Paid Klusted plans and Pat. Every paid Klusted plan (Pro, Pro+, Ultra and Teams) includes “Pat without ads”: Pat on WhatsApp (only with numbers in the European Economic Area), without ads and with 100 messages a day, at no extra cost. Anyone without a Klusted plan can buy “Pat without ads” separately (€10 a month). If the Klusted plan ends, Pat returns to the free mode (Telegram and web, with ads) unless the Pat plan is bought.
- Free trial of “Pat without ads”. The “Pat without ads” plan (€10 a month, 100 messages a day, WhatsApp included) has a 7-day trial, no card needed, once only per account and per phone number; on WhatsApp, only with numbers in the European Economic Area. To stop it being repeated we keep an encrypted mark of your number for 12 months, also if you delete your account (see the Privacy policy). When the trial ends, if you do not subscribe, WhatsApp stops being available and you continue with free Pat, with ads, on Telegram and the web; nothing is charged.
- Free plan. Includes, each day: up to 40 messages with the free-use models, 3 images, 3 agent tasks and 30 Pat messages (only on Telegram and the web; the €10 “Pat without ads” plan offers 100 a day). The day is counted according to your time zone. The free-plan models are the ones the Service indicates (cheaper ones) and may change. At the cap the function stops until the next day, or you can move to a paid plan or balance.
- Connecting your own accounts. You may connect as many of your own AI accounts or subscriptions as you like, with no limit. Replies you generate with your own subscriptions or connected accounts carry no ads. Your terms with those providers are between you and them.
- “No ads” switch. If you have a paid plan or purchased balance, you can turn it on in Settings. While it is on and included usage or balance remains, you will not see ads. When the plan usage or balance runs out, the account automatically moves to the free mode with ads (with its caps) until you renew or top up; we tell you on screen. You can turn it off whenever you like. There is no switch inside the free plan itself.
- Ads are part of the free plan. The free plan includes contextual ads as part of the service: chosen from your question at that moment and the area you give, without profiles and without keeping your question for advertising. There is no option to remove them on the free plan: if you do not want them, use a paid plan or balance with “No ads”, or do not use Klusted. You accept this when you create your free account. Your data-protection rights (including objection) remain; if you object to your question being used for ads, that account will move to a paid plan or be closed, with prior notice.
- Prepaid balance. You can add balance to your account and it is deducted as you use paid features. The balance is used for the Service and is not electronic money and earns no interest.
- VAT. The prices you see when you buy include the VAT that applies.
- Payments. Payments are processed through Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
- Daily spending limit. To protect you from runaway usage, the Service applies a daily spending limit per person (today, €200 per person per day). We may change it, and it may be adjusted for a specific account. If you reach it, paid usage stops until the next day.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, we will give you reasonable notice and the change will apply from your next renewal, so you can cancel beforehand if it does not suit you.
- From the free plan to a paid plan, and back. When you move from a paid plan down to the free plan, ads and caps switch on from the next period.
Ads
- What they are. On the free plan and on free Pat (web and Telegram), each reply starts with a “Sponsored” block with text and a link. Your answer follows, independent of the ad. “Why am I seeing this?” shows who pays and why we show it to you. There are never ads on WhatsApp.
- Contextual only. They are chosen from your current question and the area you give; no profiles. Never on health, mental health or political topics, and never to minors. How your data is handled: Privacy policy.
- An ad is not an endorsement. We do not guarantee what an advertiser offers or recommend it; the relationship is between you and the advertiser. Links take you to third-party websites.
- Tell us. If an ad seems misleading, unlawful or unsuitable, use “Report this ad” or write to support@klusted.com. We review it and, where appropriate, remove it.
- Acceptance. When you create a free account, or switch on free Pat on Telegram, we show you that the service includes ads and you expressly accept it.
- Changes. Moving existing accounts to an ad-supported model is announced in advance (see section 15); if you disagree you can cancel at no cost before it takes effect.
6. Renewal and cancellation
- Paid plans renew automatically every month until you cancel them.
- You can cancel whenever you like from your account. Cancelling prevents future charges and the plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If you change plan, the adjustment in the amount is calculated according to what is shown before you confirm.
- If you close your account, unused prepaid balance is treated as explained in the section on refunds and in the section on suspension.
7. Right of withdrawal and refunds
- Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of entering into it, without giving a reason, by writing to support@klusted.com.
- Digital content and services. Before paying for a plan or balance, we ask you to expressly request that the Service starts immediately and to acknowledge that, once it has been fully provided, you lose the right of withdrawal. If you withdraw after it has started, you will have to pay the proportionate part already used (the balance consumed or the part of the period elapsed), and we will refund the rest.
- Refunds for faults. If the Service charges you for something that was not provided or was charged by mistake, we will correct it or refund you. Write to us with the details you have and we will review it.
- Refunds are made by the same payment method, normally within 14 days of being agreed.
- For purchases that a company or a team makes for professional purposes, withdrawal does not apply unless the law recognises it; even so, we will consider each case in good faith.
8. Teams
- A team groups people under an organisation. Each person has a role (owner, admin or member) that determines what they can see and do. Whoever administers the team can invite people, change roles and remove members.
- Who pays. The team plan and balance are paid by the organisation through its owner or whoever manages billing. People on the team do not pay for what they use with the team balance, and usage is recorded for billing and team control purposes.
- Whoever administers the team is responsible for being authorised to invite each person and for informing them about how the team uses the Service.
- The same person can have a personal space and one or more team spaces; they are independent and their data and billing are not mixed. Team plans are paid and carry no ads, not even if the team plan runs out; if it runs out or is cancelled, members return to their personal space, where the plan they have applies.
9. API and console
- You can create API keys from the console to use the models from your own applications. The key is secret: keep it safe and do not share or publish it. You are responsible for all use made with your keys until you revoke them.
- The API has usage and rate limits. We may adjust them to protect the Service.
- API usage is charged to your balance at the published prices and is subject to these same terms and to the daily spending limit.
- Compatibility with other API formats (OpenAI, Anthropic) does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those companies. The developer API never shows ads: it is outside the ad system and is charged to your balance.
10. Suspension and closure for abuse
We may limit, suspend or close an account, or an API key, if you break these terms, if we detect fraudulent use or use that puts the Service or other people at risk, or if the law or an authority requires it. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you the chance to explain. If we close your account when you have not broken anything, we will refund your unused balance. We may also limit the free plan if we detect automated use to get around the caps or the ads.
11. Third-party services and availability
Klusted relies on external providers (for models, payments, email or hosting). Their services can change, have errors or be interrupted, and some features may be temporarily limited. We will do what is reasonable to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the continuity of any particular model. The service status is published on its page. Free-plan models may come from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI and xAI and, if added, open models served by providers outside China; we do not send data to China.
12. Limitation of liability
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee that the results are accurate or suitable for a particular purpose.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit, loss of data or of opportunities arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, or for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated results.
- Our total liability to you for any claim will not, as a general rule, exceed what you have paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to it.
- We are not liable for the content, accuracy or products of advertisers beyond what the law requires of us as a platform provider.
- Nothing above limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited, in particular those of consumers, or liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for personal injury.
13. Intellectual property
Klusted, its software, its design and its brand belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the Service under these terms. More detail in the Legal notice.
14. Personal data and cookies
We process your data according to the Privacy policy and use device storage according to the Cookie policy.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms because of changes to the Service, the law or our providers. We will tell you about important changes with reasonable notice by email or inside the app. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect; if you keep using the Service afterwards, we will understand that you accept them. The current version is the one published here, with its date. Changes that affect what the free plan includes (caps, ads) are notified by email or in the app at least 30 days ahead.
16. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
Write to us first at support@klusted.com: we will try to resolve it in good faith. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights that consumer law gives you, including going to the courts that are competent for you, and you can use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). In all other cases, the parties submit to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law.
